Our friends in Bemidji, MN, IEN and others, have been so kind and supportive, and have let us see where the Oceti construction crew could help them. Major projects for repair and upgrade in their multi-use community service facility have been completed, and now several large outdoor projects are underway, including this platform for a large yurt.
[Very rough date estimate]
Crew was glad to learn that it would help IEN to return to the Standing Rock area to retrieve equipment from IEN's many months of serving the Standing Rock Camps. IEN did their part, and more, as always, to support the mission. Awesome folks.

Wow, so totally kind is IEN. The crew was exhausted, and equipment that is left, trucks, were severely damaged. IEN treated the crew like family, helping with a safe warm place to rest and work, and friendly qualified help for the trucks.
The crew, as always, found ways to help! Plans were discussed for building models of more sustainable living on IEN premises, and helping with construction within the large multi-use IEN, etc, facility.
Two different candidates, properties, for future community construction, were evaluated.

Beautiful land. Nice folks at the emerging camp. Possibly very entangled land ownership, control issues.
The residents seemed delighted with the outhouse/compost toilet they constructed!
[Rough date estimate]
Beautiful land. A bit remote from supplies needed for building the Community. Extremely strong emphasis on becoming the Lakota Way, which is not exactly the focus of this mission.
[Date, rough estimate.]
Wonderful one night visit. Met wonderful folks the crew would love to work alongside, and serve. Quickly helped with plumbing and other issues. Camp was just being established. No permanent structures desired so we moved on.
